Style Heroine: Fearne Cotton

What I love about Fearne is that she shops high street which a lot of people stray away from these days with designers offering clothing at prices that some can afford. Fearne is a radio dj and well known tv presenter in the Uk for those who don't know and is slowly creeping up the charts in fashion. I love her quirky style and how she isn't afraid to mix and match and personally I think she's gorgeous and she pulls everything off amazingly. Plus she knows James Corden, nobody could be more amazing.

Outfit of The Day

So today, well technically yesterday now but, was a pretty chilled out day. I didn't actually get changed out of my pj's still 2pm and then I went to the post office and to the supermarket so I went simple but comfortable at the same time. I'm wearing an Asos jumper which has a musical note in sequins which you sadly cannot see and I paired it with dark washed skinny jeans from River Island and a pair of converse. Nothing fancy (: And I'm wearing the necklace that I know a lot of my subscribers love from River Island (:

Product Rave : No7 Essential Moisture Foundation.

If I had to live with one foundation and no choices in swapping it around, I would choose this one for sure. Not only does it moisturize but it has spf combined to protect your skin from the sun. This product you can only purchase in Boots stores as it is a boots own brand make up. This retails for around £10.50 which I think is reasonable for its quality and lasting wear. It comes in a series of shades and I fall under the lightest which is called Ivory. To apply I use a stifling brush from sigma and pat across my face and neck for an even air brushed finish. Once it is applied evenly, I use circular motions to blend it in, leaving my skin looking fresh and natural for the day. Smell wise, I wouldn't say it has a over powering scent but there is one lingering in the product. It's easy to throw into your make up back and the packaging I feel is sophisticated but simple. I would recommend this product to you if you have dry skin like I do, or acne prone as it covers scars and blemishes well.

an unhealthy obsession.

For crap but addictive tv, this show takes a firm place in the top five. Former Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost and POD take on the fakest of fake girls and sometimes even boys and try to promote natural beauty. I really d not like these type of girls that are on this show, especially where I live. Scotland rarely gets enough sun to get a tan you could get on a beach in a hot country, so when you see an orange girl walking down the street, it just looks wrong and out of place. I'm the palest of the pale and I like it! I couldn't rank myself as a "natural beauty or a beauty at all. Every Thursday before Skins I watch this programme and another one that is equally bad with another Atomic Kitten singer and I admit this to be a guilty pleasure. It has style, make up and hair tips all folded in and I love it!

Oh Mac how you disappoint

So once I ran out of my n07 foundation, I decided to purchase a high end foundation to see what the fuss was about. So I went into mac and I purchased Studio Fix Fluid and I was matched up to nw20. I purchased the pump also along with two lipsticks so it wasn't cheep and now I wish I never. Yesterday I wore it all day and I seemed fine until I took it off at night where I noticed break outs across my face that weren't there in the morning. I figured it was just because I'm a teenager and we're all prone to the odd breakout but applying it today, I noticed red blotches appearing all over my face and neck. I also noticed that it was far too dark for me making me look orange. I thought that paying £20+ for a foundation that it would be good and not cause anything like this, I know my usual £10 foundation from boots hasn't done anything. But obviously I was wrong, I now have stinging blotches over my skin and I'm not going to be using that again, I'm going to return to boots and go back to my usual foundation. This is my first Mac Disappointment and I hope its the only one.

Review: I Should Coco Soap

On my first trip into a lush store, I was aiming to buy a new soap. I purchased "Rockstar" and "Honey I washed the kids" online and never really got the chance to smell any other soaps. I recently took a shopping trip in Princes Street with my best friend and I dragged her into lush to show her "Rockstar" mainly because it screams her in a soap. She of course, took my advice, and picked a chunk up while I got "I should Coco". Last night, I cut a chunk so I wouldn't use it all at once and took it into the test drive. After cutting I wasn't a big fan of the smell of it, it came off rather over powering but as I let it sit for a while I could smell the coconut fragrance coming back through. In the shower, it made my skin feel really strange and almost slippy, as if the water was just falling off and not touching me at all. But as I stepped out the shower and dried off, I realized how smooth and soft my skin felt. Over all, I wouldn't rave about the smell of this soap but it is better than a few I have smelt. I am going to use it again to see what its like on second testing but so far, I'm liking this soap so far.
